Diptyque Baies Candle

May 8, 2015

I am sincerely sorry for not posting as often as promised. Sometimes you need to just take a break and get some time off to live life. Now I feel like I’m back with renewed passion and joy for what I do.
During my time off (from blogging) I bought a little extra special gift to myself: Diptyque “Baies” candle. Yes, the one I’d wanted for years and years, and finally it’s mine. My-oh-my, this candle smells so divine and comes in super chic packaging (which I can’t wait to use as a container for my brushes). Meanwhile, I’m enjoying its fresh, uplifting, floral scent which instantly livens up the ambience and the aura of my home. The “Baies” candle has notes of rose and blackcurrant leaves which I found not too overpowering (or sickly), but very subtle and pleasant. In fact, the  beautiful aroma lingers in the air even when it’s not lit, which I think is quite impressive.
Sure, Diptyque candles are quite pricey, but with the many hours of clean burning time ( around 60 hrs for 6.5 oz jar) and blend of only natural waxes, essential oils and cotton wicks I think it’s totally worth your investment. And by the way this sophisticated candle makes a great accent piece for your home as well.

What are your favorite scented candles?
