Healthy Glow Makeup

I’ve been really into that natural-looking, dewy complexion at the moment because my skin just looks rather dull and dry these days. In order to get that lit from within glow, I’ve been using the following three products which make it a whole lot easier to achieve the much-coveted natural, luminescent skin look. So get ready to ditch the heavy foundation in favor of these products…

ESTÉE LAUDER EE Cream in Light– $40/£34

The Estée Lauder EE Cream is brand’s relatively new product release that is part of their Enlighten collection. The double Es here stand for “Even Effect” and is mainly targeted to address skin discoloration issues – dark spots, sun spots, dullness, redness etc. A few drops of this is enough to give you an even skin tone and a beautiful, radiant, healthy glow. It is really light and sheer in texture and has an SPF of 30 to protect the skin from harmful sun damage. That said, the sheer formula doesn’t provide enough coverage on its own, so I’d highly recommend using a concealer on areas you need more coverage.

IOPE Air Cushion XP in
C 23 – $40/£26.99

You know that gorgeous luminous skin that all Korean actresses seem to have? Hint: This is their secret to achieving that look! Cushion compacts have recently gained unprecedented popularity in the West, and rightly so. I’m currently a big fan of IOPE Air Cushion XP, the one that is generally referred to as the first to start the whole trend and the #1 best-selling cushion in South Korea. While it’s super thin and lightweight, it provides medium coverage and has really high SPF 50. It gives the most beautiful fresh glow to the skin in a matter of seconds. Plus, it comes with an additional refill and a puff. What’s not to love?

The one we all dearly love and adore, right? In case, you haven’t tried it yet…This tinted moisturizer gives  light to medium coverage that evens out the skin tone and leaves a natural, dewy finish. Unlike other tinted moisturizers on the market, the NARS range features a wide variety of colors to match different skin tones; the shade Alaska (light neutral) fits my skin tone perfectly. The formula is very moisturizing and light in texture, it glides over the skin smoothly and lasts surprising well throughout the day without oxidizing. Plus, it has a decent SPF 30 protection as well.

  • Hey Jina 🙂 I’m still loving the NARS tinted moisturiser and I think I’m running low of it. It’s really good isn’t it? 🙂 I so want to buy into the hype of the air cushion foundation but never actually gotten one because I’m afraid getting the wrong shade. Since most of them are really light, no?

    • Hi, Ellya! You’re right, the color selection isn’t all that great ( however, brands like Lancome and Amorepacific carry quite a wide range of colors that you might want to try out 😉 Good luck!

  • Gorgeous looks! I usually prefer matte finish, but I might give a try to that healthy glowing skin look. Those are so beautiful! Also, I can’t wait to try this NARS tinted moisturizer.
