LOVING LATELY

Spilling out my makeup bag and showing you everything I loved these past few months…

  • Dolce Gabbana Luminous Foundation in Natural Beige

Foundation for me is all about achieving the most natural yet flawless-looking finish. Inspired by Dolce& Gabbana’s runway beauty looks and ad campaigns, I thought I’d recreate this effortlessly chic and luminous look on myself using a foundation from D&G’s own beauty range. Let me say that it is currently the only foundation I use on a daily basis, as it creates a natural-looking medium coverage that feels so extremely light on the skin. It is designed to add a flattering, soft glow to the skin with help of tiny light-reflecting particles that give skin that red carpet look! I think it is best suited for those with normal to dry skin like me.

  • Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder in Medium

Contouring is an essential step in my makeup routine as it gives a subtle definition to my oval facial structure. The Kevin Aucoin Sculpting Powder in Medium is one I’ve been using more and more recently as it has a perfect beige-y grey shade to it which is perfect for contouring. The only downside is that if you apply it heavy handedly it can deposit too much product on your skin, which can make you look muddy. So I’d recommend to apply with a brush that doesn’t deposit too much color on the skin such as the Bobbi Brown’s Sheer Powder Brush.

  • Giorgio Armani Lipstick in Pink 500

I’m a big fan of mauve pink & dusty rose lipsticks! Therefore, I couldn’t resist purchasing  one from Giorgio Armani’s Rouge d’Armani collection since I’ve heard such great feedback about it.  It was really hard to choose just one shade, but I settled on Pink #500, which is a beautiful dusty rose shade. The formula is matte yet hydrating with amazing long-lasting wearability. Love, love, love! I cannot wait to purchase another one from the same collection in the shade Pink #503.

  • Charlotte Tilburry Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk

This is my absolute favorite neutral pink lip liner at the moment, which suits perfectly with pretty much all of my lipsticks! The velvety smooth formula glides on comfortably, making it easy to fill in and shape my lips.  I feel like buying another one, you know, just in case 🙂
