Mac Studio Fix + Spray: It is one of my favorite makeup sprays along with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. Just a few spritzes of this will revive makeup and hydrate skin, particularly when you might have applied a bit too much powder or want a dewy look.
Mac Spice Lip Liner: This purchase was clearly inspired by Tijan Serena as I love watching her Youtube videos. She mentioned using this lip liner on a daily basis and it looks absolutely amazing on her so I thought I’d give it a go. It’s a warm browny nude shade that looks stunning on pretty much every skin tone. It also lasts for quite a long time and has a very good pigmentation compared to some other Mac lip liners.
Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Serum was a product I was really intrigued to try after reading Caroline Hiron’s blog. It was also on discount at Boots priced at only £16.66 (was £24.99), so I had to
grab myself a bargain. Apparently, it’s a serum that contains pure form hy aluronic acid (that holds up to 1,000 times its weight in water) and red marine algae that will make your skin look more hydrated, plumped and smooth. I just started using it so I’ll report back in about a month.
Skin Smart Dermaroller: Another highlight of my purchases is this derma roller which I immediately bought after reading the Byrdie article called “New to Derma-Rolling? Here’s Everything You Need to Know.” Basically, derma rolling is a minimally invasive procedure which stimulates collagen production, reduces acne scars, wrinkles, skin discoloration and enhances product absorption by rolling needles on your skin 2-3 per week. I bought mine from Amazon seller called Skin Smart since it had mostly positive reviews.
